Hi All,

Sorry to hijack the forum again by actually mentioning < gasp> astronomy, but comet Swan 2025R2 is putting on a good show low in the evening sky and last night the clouds cleared enough for me to image it.

A combination of 60 20 second images using my 5" f/5 refractor and a Canon D60.  The very bright star is Spica.

Now back to your usual programming! angel

Scientifically proven fact:- No woman has ever murdered her husband while he is washing the dishes.

Very nice, Rob. Comets are my favorite observing targets. It was Hale-Bopp that pushed me to get my first telescope, not that you needed it for that one.

This is C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) handheld iPhone pic taken last October 14th from the Pacific Ocean west of Hawaii off the cruise ship.

Nice everyone! The conjunction this morning was made by combining a few photos from my phone, all I had time for.

Finally had some clear skies again last night so took some more images of comet Swan. It showed a nice tail even in 80mm binoculars.

Combination of 20, 30 second exposures. 5" f/5 refractor and Canon D60.
