Enabling someone to do this is basically assisted suicide. I'm very surprised the Catholic church would see this as compassionate.

Russ, What do you consider a viable alternative? Interesting article. I was not aware that programs like this existed. I guess it at least keeps them off the streets. I wonder if any of the residents quit while there?
