We never have cool stuff like this in the New York area. I mean, the extremely varied dining scene here is nice and all, but sometimes we just want the inexpensive, honest, down-to-earth American style cuisine.
The closest Cracker Barrel is about 70 miles from my house. Yes, I drive there from time to time. Yes, toll and gas cost more than the meal. Yes. That's pathetic. wink

Next time you're in Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa or Nebraska, try Culvers. They kick everybody's butt.

And they serve Wisconin frozen custard, ice cream apotheosized.
