Obama issues statement regarding solar flares

Obama issued a statement saying the solar flares were caused by global warming and by Republicans trying to cut the budget deficit. Obama said that the only way to minimize future solar flares is for everyone to off set their carbon footprint by giving to Al Gore's "keep my 14,000 square foot house lit fund."

In other statements Obama indicated a futher reduction in solar activity can be accomplished by increased federal spending on Obama pet projects, and by keeping useless government projects alive. He warned that any trimming of the federal budget at this time will almost certainly, matbe, have a likely impact on solar activity. He also noted that his budget, which calls for increased solar activity over the next two years, will save $1.1 trillion in solar activity sometime after he leaves office.

You're kidding....right? They(he and the SW) actually said that? Not that global warming was caused by solar activity? Ooooh boy....we're in for a bumpy two year ride. At least it's funny and good for a laugh but the ramifications for a lot of us are dire. :S Mike

I find it hard to believe you are even trying to believe it smile

Would you please be so kind as to supply a reputable source for such a comment. I find it hard to believe such a statement. My concern is not politically motivated, rather based on the obvious implication of scientific misunderstanding.
