A fascinating, if short, article on the creator of the comic strip "Calvin and Hobbes" appears on CNN's website at the above link. A multi-volume set was released on October 4th that contains every strip that appeared in daily newspapers for 10 years (3160 in all).
Might make a good holiday gift.
