Pinos? Anybody?

Is anybody going to Pinos this weekend?

I considered going but the problem is threefold: 1. While Northbound traffic is OK, the Southbound I-5 just past Templin highway is impossible because three lanes are being repaired after the storm. You would likely have to detour near Gorman and return via Palmdale. 2. Whether or not Pinos is doable at the parking lot is questionable and a call to the ranger station would be a good idea. 3. If Pinos is open at the top, you probably won't get there due to all the people coming to play in the snow.
Red Rock canyon is probably a better site at this point but call the ranger station if you consider going there due to the recent storms.
