Has anyone attended in years past? How are the skies, facilities, etc.? I'm thinking of going, but I'd like to get a sense of what to expect.

Thanks in advance,

I have been 3 times, twice in the late 1990's early 2000's and once last year. It is a decent sky for New Jersey, but the trees have gotten a bit taller than they used to be blocking a bit more of the Horizon than one would want.

However, it still is a pretty good site and a wonderful star party for children. They have a pool which while chilly, is fun. They also have small cabins if one wants to not sleep in a tent. They talks are pretty good and the people extremely friendly.

Highly recommended, as long as you are not expecting Cherry Springs like skies.

I'll be there again this year with my kids and understanding wife.

The weather forecast is looking bad for this weekend. The dreaded words "stalled cold front" are being used. Drat.

I will be there for the Saturday daylight activities at the least no matter what the weather decides to do.
