As a member of the Enchanted Skies Star Party planning committee I would like to invite all of you to this years star party. We are very excited about our keynote speaker this year, Astronaut Dr. John Grunsfeld who was a member of the STS-125 Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission crew. In addition to this we are offering many other great events such as:
-A tour of the Magdalena Ridge Observatory and observing at 10,600ft
-Insider tour of the Very Large Array
-Telescope Engineering workshop led by Barry Spletzer
-Chuckwagon dinner and campfire lecture at the El Camino Real International Heritage Center
Not to mention nightly observing at the Etscorn campus observatory as well as at our dark sky site, the El Camino Real International Heritage Center.
For more information, please visit our website.

We are also working on coordinating with the New Mexico Tech Sci-Fi convention that is scheduled for the same dates to allow star party registrants to attend their lectures and events.
I will be checking this thread regularly so please post any questions you might have and I will do my best to answer them. If you have attended in the past and have suggestions, post those as well and I will pass them on to the planning committee.
We hope to see you there,
Luke Schmidt & the
