I just ordered a full aperture Kendrick Baader type filter for a 12" LX 200. Does anyone have any experiaence with these that they can share? I have been told that I need a 2" variable polarizer to use with it. Is this true? I must admit I am a bit spooked now as to the safty of this filter on this size scope. Please fill me in.
