Lookings for recommendations for hoods or other tools and techniques to help prevent "light leaks" around the eyepiece. I currently use an eyepatch, but with glasses it's kinda awkward - I've heard people use anything from black t-shirts to full hoods.

I use the dark cloth from my 4X5 camera. It is black on one side, white on the other and has little weights in the corners.
I had a friend try it and he claimed I added 2" to his 12" f7 scope he has been observing with for close to 40 years!!
The best ones come from Calumet Photographic and carry the Zone VI brand. Expect to pay $35-45 and have it last a lifetime.
