Location-Lafayette,Ca

Class-5

Equip.-XT8, various eyepieces, o-111, Nikon Monarch 8x42

I really wanted to sketch M15 tonight, so I went outside for that. It ended out to be more than just a night for a sketch.

South and Herschel 282

While I was waiting to become dark adapted, I viewed this.

Notes:

Like a small Albireo. Easily split with 25mm and Binos. if held steady. Brighter companion gold/white. Dimmer is blue.

M15

9mm MA Meade

Here are my notes:

This is a very densley packed globular. I can resolve more stars on the "left" side. It has a stellar center, and appears very small with direct. With averted, a whole world of stars appears. This cluster outshines M13 if you know what to look for

NGC 6804

9mm MA Meade/ 17mm Vixen Lanthanum

Notes:

Oval like with 9. Circular with 17. Faint bluish hue with 17. Fairly large. Visible without O-111 in 17.

NGC 6905

Rather large and a bit circular with direct. blends in with another star. Brighter on right side.
