Wide Angle Eyepieces on f/10 refractor?

Do wide-angle eyepieces that advertise 66-degree and 70-degree fields of view work on scopes with longer focal lengths? Or are they specifically for wide-field scopes?
My telescope is a 70mm refractor with 700mm f.l.

I have several telescopes, but none are semi-APO, APO, or in anyway valuable.

Actually the less expensive widefield eyepieces often work significantly better at F/10 than the do in at F/5 in that they will be sharper near the edge in the slower scope.

F/4 etc scopes produce a steep light cone and it takes fancy eyepieces like Naglers to provide a clean image.

At F10 basic eyepieces work very nicely.

Cool! I may have to try one of the wide angles once I finish my power mad phase! 8) I had good results Lunar observing with an 8mm Plossl and want to try 5mm and 6mm Plossls next. Thanks.
