Hi Everyone,

I am building small GEM for doing widefield imaging (28mm-400mm) both CCD and Film. Are there any commercial sources where I can buy worm gears and drives (cheap) for this mount.

If you watch ebay you can find some deals. Currently you can find a 9inch byers set for $139.

Mel Bartels web page on Computer operated telescopes also has a mechanical section with links to several homemade versions.

Good Luck Dave
