router bit - wood tubes

Seems to me that there are router bits made to cut profiles into the edges of wood to make up wood tubes. The router bit only cuts one edge leaving a "corner" for the next plank to fit into place. They come in a variety of "sides". I cant find them on anyones website. Any ideas or suggestions for where to locate?

Thanks, Kreig

Sounds like you're talking about a bird's mouth joint, Kreig.
You could cut that with a table saw, with a dado blade set at the proper angle.
Or just make two passes with a regular blade.
The angle would have to be pretty accurate to get a good glue joint all the way around.
Here's another method of joinery, where the "angle" isn't so important.
