I have seen one of these on astromart not long ago on a beautiful older scope. looks like two finder brackets connected by a rod and a weight that can move back and forth. who makes such a unit? Any help? thanks for your time. ben

I have one of these on an 8" newt that I am currently refurbishing. It was made by Novak and he will probably make one for you if you can contact him. I don't have his phone number at my fingertips but someone who reads this forum probably does. I purchased the sliding counterweights many years ago so I don't know his current pricing.
