You see various places selling nice little R&P focusers, etc. which are very helpful for scope building projects. But who supplies them? Know of any OEM focuser makers? Are there any in the US or are they mostly from overseas?

JMI, Moonlite, and Feathertouch are all US made, but higher end than the OEM you may be referring to. For my money, the Moonlight and Feathertouch cannot be beat, but the JMI's are also very nice. If you are looking for a nice, smooth, 2" focuser for a dob, etc, check out the JMI 2" Monorail. It is exceptionally well made and less than 100.00.
