My Binocular Chair

With a tip of the hat to Eugene Artemyeff and his great Comet Couch design, here is a version that I recently completed.

It is a GREAT way to observe.

I plan on writing up some construction notes when I have a little time, but your thoughts and questions are welcome.

That's some nice design gentlemen, well done!
(Indeed Eugene, I see the need of some sort of cushions... after all, we want to be comfortable while viewing for extended periods of time...)

Very nice! Looks substantial enough for 25x100's ? Is that what you have mounted?
I'm very interested in your construction notes. I tried a similar setup also inspired by Eugene Artemyeff's Comet Couch. (Thanks Eugene!) While I really enjoyed being able to sweep around without getting up and moving things, just breathing made the platform wobble enough to be visible in the binos. My parallelogram will also need to be beefed up or replaced to handle 100mm binos most likely.
