Is there a good telescope making out there? With Projects? I mean a really good one, with photographs, easy to follow instructions, and instructions on how to make a mount?
Thanks,
Zack

This is one of the best. You may find a copy at your local library.

Build Your Own Telescope.

Dimensions (in inches): 11 x 8.44 x 0.91

Try "All about Telescopes" by Sam Brown
Thats the book I used to make my first scope. It explains quite simply the process. How to build testing equipment. And covers simple equatorial mounts too! No photos but lots of drawings. Probably not the latest info but was easy enough to follow that this old concrete man could do it! 8)

Zack,

Also worth mentioning is the Sidewalk Astronomers web site. They have a lot of online plans with detail for building scopes and lots of pictures. Well worth a visit.
