grin Well I feel funny bring this up, but I sold a nice 4" apo and a lot of other things to buy a TOA130 here on Astromart. I just ordered a m6 Stellarvue mount from OPT. I have not looked through it yet. I also bought a NP127 1st generation. Its not here yet. I am a visual only now. One has to go or I go. The wife speaking. Any ideas as to which should go. I am not making this up as you will see one for sale soon. I am leaning on keeping the NP127 without looking at yet. The Tak is visually beautiful just to look at. Better than any painting you could put in the living room. She lets me keep them in the living room area. honest.

The NP-127 would be better suited to your needs I would think.

1) The NP-127 is 14lbs while the TOA-130 is 22lbs. Since your are mounting these on an M6 alt-az mount, the lighter the tube the better the stability and viewing. The NP-127 might not require a counterweight on the M6 while the TOA-130 almost certainly will

2) Cooldown favors the NP-127, which facilitates the quick look aspect of your setup.

For other people and uses the TOA-130 could be a better choice, but given what you seems to want to do with it, I would think the NP-127 is better for you.
