Skywatcher Pro Focuser Problems

I was able to find some information over on CN, but I thought I'd check here as well. The rough focus on my Pro 100 is extremely "rough" to put it mildly. It works, but I can tell that it is out of adjustment. It came like that from the factory. It actually will make noise at one point of focusing and the focus movement is definitely not smooth.

Has anyone had any luck with adjusting and correcting these problems with the scopes? It appears to be a fairly common problem.
