Hello!
Where on Gods Green Earth can a person get AR coating applied to an old achromat set?
Google turns up very annoying results with no useful info.
Can anyone help?

Does your old achromat have coatings? If so your going to have to repolish and refigure the lens set and the cost more than likely will be prohibitive not unless you do this your self.
That's probably why your not getting any results from google

Not sure what will be involved in preparing, but Majestic does anti reflection coatings, and based on working with him to get the mirrors for a 16" classical cassegrain re coated last summer, I think he'd be pretty easy to work with.
