I have a C102F and luckily have had no problems with it. But wouldn't it be nice if an skilled optician set up shop for problems like this. I know someone will come back with, "it would not be economically feasable" or something on that order. I wonder if

the Arkansas Sky Observatory - the Super Charge could rectify someting like this?

I have thought the exact same thing man times before. I liken the operation to makers/repairers of fine musical intruments. If one has a problem with an instrument, there are always a number of places to have things fixed by real experts. There exist no such places for optical equipment, not to my knowledge anyway.
