Pebbles of Sap inside TOA objective. What is it? How do I get it out?

Good Seeing, Walt

Not sure what you mean by "sap". Are you describing water droplets between the elements? Those are caused when warm, humid air trapped inside cools down and the water condenses. You need to warm up the scope and keep it in a dryer area or use a dessicant plug in the focuser.

How could you get sap inside your objectives?

Anyway, I wouldn't take it apart. Having owned a couple of them, I would send it to Art or Japan if you have to have the spot out. I understand that the alignment of lenses is pretty critical.

Good luck,

That's bizarre.

Can you take a picture of it and post here?

Walt,

You definitely need to provide a better description, or photos, of what you are seeing.
