Meade 80mm Model 320 refractor

I just got one of these old circa 1985 Meade Mdl 320 made in Japan refractor without the tripod. Does anyone know how well they performed and who manufactured them.

i believe that they were made by Mizar of Japan. Others have speculated Towa, but i think that was their 80mm f/15 'scope a couple of years earlier. i've seen a couple of Tascos that were close in design as well.

i had one, sorry i got rid of it (80mm, 900mm focus.) Was it on the Mizar mount? The Mizar was the one that was cloned in China as the Orion Skyview Deluxe and a marketed under various other names as well. The ones by Mizar being the best of that lot.
