I have on older Meade 127 mm ED APO and love it, replaced the focuser with the moonlite focuser and looks really great. I take it to star parties for some astrophotography.
But now I come to the point to adjust the collimation, I have the Orion 'eyepiece' collimater not the laser one. Just want to try this one out before bying the laser collimator.
Now the from lens has 6 srews, 3 big and 3 smaller ones.
I just want to know what screws to use and if there is a link to collimate the Meade 127 mm ED APO.
Just want to give it a try, if not I'll sent it to Meade.

This image is taken with the Canon 10D unmoddefied.
When I use the Orion collimator tool I can see that the white and blue dot do not line up properly. I guess that is the collimation ?
I will buy the laser collimator to find out for sure before I start screwing around.

I think I'm getting there:
Did some star test and made some pictures with the canon 10D no filters no focal reducer. This is the closest I can get. Results are better and I will start imaging tonigt again and see what happens.
Thanks for all your comments...
Are there others out there who wants to post their star tests with the meade 127mm ED, just want to compare.
