EON 120 what a scope

Hi,
Once again I"ll post on Jup. and a prominent double as it is about all I can get here in my Brooklyn backyard. I was able to get the GRS clearly as an oval cream clolored spot not just a hollow at 70x (12.5 UO ortho) I probably could've gotten it at lower mag but I don't have any lower power ep except a 23mm stellarvue wich gives 38x and it didn't show in that one.
I have seen the grs before at that power (70x)but never the actual spot separated from the hollow at that power. It was always a clearly oval bulge in the band and below (in the diag.) but not more at 70x. This night I got it all and seeing is not that great. Don't know why I got it in this seeing but I guess you do get to see a heck of a lot more with more hours put in behind the ep.
The double double was great. Four Airy discs with the slightest diff ring (at 163x (meade 5k 5.5mm)).
I didn't try lower last night.
Even though I don't have "much behind a lot of different scope experience" and even though I know you all know my feelings on this scope I'll say it again:
THIS SCOPE STAYS!!!!! 8)
(unless it's to trade for an EON 150 grin )

Itz, Always nice to hear about someone enjoying their scope. What do you have it mounted on?

Enjoyment of the night sky is what this hobby is all about and it sounds like you have achieved that end. I have a 100mm f/9 Skywatcher ED on a Celestron GOTO CG-5 that works very well for me right now, although maybe a 120mm could work even better.
