Celestron ED 100

Hello,
Anyone know if this optical tube is the same that Orion ED 100 or SW ED100?

Your optical performance is good? I am looking for a good 4" refractor for solar observing.

Thanks,
Paulo

It is my understanding that the optics are identical but that the mechanical components are not, ie the focuser and OTA itself. The Celestron uses a rack and pinion focuser where as the other two have a basic but decent Crayford.
