Baby Q and FSQ-106 with binoviewers...

One of the great things about my Sky-90 is its ability to accept binos directly into the rear port. The views are great at about 35x, but obviously, this method presents the problem of being uncomfortable because of the craned neck. Without the Extender Q, the binos will not come to focus with a diagonal. (I have an Orion 45-degree prism on the way to see if that will be short enough.) The 85 and 106 are advertised as being able to accomodate binoviewers, but since they view straight-through in Japan, I'm not clear on what this means.

Could an FSQ-85 or 106 user please tell me if your Denk 2 unit will come to focus with only a diagonal (no extender).

Also, when you install an Ethos, do you have a flat field to the edge?

Thank you very much, Chris

Do you have the FSQ-106n or the newer version?
