Apogee 80mm f/5.8 "Widest Field" refractor

Anyone got any info on these? Impressions on build and optical quality.

I just ordered one for a very cheap price to use as a replacement finder on my 11" SCT. (The 60-degree prism diagonal will be replaced by a 90-degree star diagonal)

My impression, based on the picture, is I hate the tube/logo, but that's an easy fix.

As I remember it, optically they are reasonable, I think splitting the double-double is doable. Mechanically, the focuser is workable but plastic...

That $100 price is awful tempting just to find out but I can't really justify spending the money when I have some pretty decent 80 mm scopes already...

As finder it ought to do a nice job.
