TEC 140 and Discmount 6

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I'm considering getting a DM 6 to mount my TEC 140 on my AP wooden tripod and wonder whether others using this
configuration are pleased with the results. Also, I'd appreciate knowing what additional hardware would be necessary to mate these elements, and hearing
opinions about accessories such as the DM saddle, the encoders, and the tripod extension.
