Hi Kurt, grin I purchased a widescan 16mm- 1 1/4" earlier this year.
Firstly it's a well manufactured ep, fully multicoated. I use mine with a Unitron 4" f15, now I know that f15 can hide a multitude of sins but I've used it on a f8 with excellent results. It's like looking through a porthole into space. Kidney beaning is almost non exsistant. Now the only thing you have to be careful of is to make sure that there is enough inward travel with your focuser. I've tried it on some Newtonians, they did not have enough inward travel, so the image cannot be brought into focus. Hope this helps. Cheers, John 8)
