Revisit that site before you use Acetone on an eyepiece!
I would be very careful about using something as strong as acetone on an optical surface.
There are plenty of threads here on cleaning eyepieces.... just search for them using the search forum feature at the top right of the screen... or wait for others to ring in on the subject.
