Will 4mm Ortho (volcano top) work well in a binoviewer, or is the eye relief too tight? (It doesn't bother me with one eye.)

I have the complete set with doubles in the 25,18,12.5 and 7mm lengths. The 7mm has worked just fine. I'd say that if you can get them to align with your eyes, then they'll work for you. Although, as you stated, the ER is quite tight.
