Need Help?

Not enough in focus

A friend recently tried a 35m panoptic in his Starsplitter dob and did not have enough intravel.

Have any suggestions for a remedy?

Can a low profile focuser help?

Anything other than shortening truss tubes?

Thanks,

Dan

A Paracorr helps a little, not a huge amount but maybe 3/8". You can move the mirror forward on the collimation screws if you haven't done that already or even sometimes replace the screws with longer ones.
