GSO 2" Barlow

I just received mine from Owl Services yesterday. If there is a better buy in a 2", 2X Barlow for $49.00 I'd like to hear about it. Using this thing is, simply put, doubling the power of an eyepiece with absolutely no degredation of image----period! It also works as a 3X if placed in front of the diagonal, again with wonderful results. Comes with a 1.25" eyepiece adapter. It's well made and light weight and, like the GSO 2" 42mm eyepiece, one of the all time great bargains in astronomy equipment.

You can also remove the lens element from the GSO barlow and screw it directly into a number of 2" eyepieces. I have tried it with the RPD 30mm 80 degree eyepiece and others. It doesn't work so well if you are using a refractor with a diagonal but it worked great on a Newt.
