[COLOR="Purple"]Hi!
Long time Paracorr user...just picked up a Baader MPCC for visual use...like the idea of correction without the 15% increase in magnification. Another plus is that it weighs less than the PC.

Any visual users fo the MPCC out there? How well does it perform? My scopes are f/4 to f/5.22.
Thanks!

You will need extension tubes to put the EP field stop at the proper 55mm distance. Try a 15mm + 7.5mm T-2 system tube plus a Click-Lock. Some EP's will need more or less. The 2" T-2 EP holder will be needed for 2" EP's.

I've used the MPCC along side the PC and Lumicon.
It works fine. I've not seen any major optical
advantage of one over the other in normal
observing. (Though I've not done any exhaustive
tests either.)

One interesting mode for all these, is to
attach it directly to the bottom of 2" eyepieces
using appropriate adapters and spacers. For example

This can help if you are tight on back focus,
or if weight is a critical issue.

One small advantage of the Lumicon and new
TV Visual PC, is the rear lens is larger,
so there is less darkening at the field edge
with the widest eyepieces (e.g. Nagler 31).
Here the smaller T2 outlet on the Baader and TV
Photo PC cause a little vignetting. But it
only affects a very few eyepieces.

The MPCC certainly wins for price and small size.
