When I am pricing things I am going to sell, I just go to 'Search Classifieds'. You can type in the name of the equipment that you want to sell and then search in the appropriate forum. I usually change the search from date to 2 years earlier (just change the 7 in 2007 to a 5). You should get a bunch of folks who sold your item. Throw out the high and low prices and average the rest.

I'm sure others will chime in with their method.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you mean the Classified section in the Search Ads block select Advanced Search and set up from there. I agree, that's what I do to get a going rate for something I'm going to sell and adjust the price for the condition of the item, or condition of the sale.
