Prices of equipment and the sinking dollar

Taking into account the worth of the dollar, not so long ago dollar was worth over 100 yens. It's now about 92 yen to the dollar. This will mean that the prices of some astronomy equipment will go up, at least for the foreign made equipment. How will this affect the prices of U.S. Made equipment?

Will the U.S. equipment prices go up too? Just trying to pick the best time for me to make all my purchase before any further collapse of the dollar. If this won't affect U.S. made products then I can wait to make my purchases, if not then I need to make my purchases ASAP.

What about used equipment? Will the used foreign made equipment increase in price too?

Any thoughts?

Hi: This is my thinking... One can never be sure what will happen. Buy it now so you have that much longer to enjoy it.
