Piggyback Scope Mounting

Does anyone have experience with the Scopestuff piggyback scope mounting kits? Much cheaper than the other available setups, but the rail is attached with only one screw at each end rather than two. Any concerns about the stability of the mount or the strength of just one screw?

I actually have them on my 10" LX-200GPS, and use them to hold my ST-80 on top of it. So far I have not seen or had any issues with them.

Of course I'm not mounting anything that REALLY stresses them out.

What are you planning on doing with them? How heavy is the equipment you plan of mounting?

One screw is good enough to tightly hold them in place.

Clear skies!

I used them to mount an ST-80 to an LX-90 and they are sufficient for that purpose. I would think that if you were mounting a guidescope for serious imaging you would want something more stable.
