Orion telesopes for sale

Hi all;

Ive noticed an awful lot of Orion telescope up for sale in astromart. Im
seeing everything from a 4 1/4 up to 12.5 inch reflectors up for sale.
I am wondering is there an over abundance of people dumping these scopes
because they are unhappy with them because of poor quality or is this
just a Orion sell off phase???

Maybe they just want to upgrade to the new models and need scope funds

I also see a lot of Meade Telescopes and a lot of Celestron Telescopes for sale. I suspect the reason for this is that there are just a whole lot of Orion, Celestron and Meade telescopes out there...

Orion seems to be the only one of the big three that has been financially stable over the past several years, it would be interesting to know the relative numbers in terms of telescopes sold per year by the big three.
