Greetings,

Here is another image from 7/24/03 captured with a ToUcam Pro. I toyed around with this one a bit longer on Registax and PhotoShop. It is comprised of 288 stacked and aligned images from a 30second avi. I used 10fps and about 10% gamma when capturing.

I used my ToUcam Pro and C8 with a 2x barlow and a 80A blue filter. Captured at 0745 UT. Comments and suggestions are welcomed. Thanks to the forum for everyone's advice, tips and techniques. It's been of great help.

Best Regards,

Mark

Mark - nice shot, good contrast, sharp limb. Try using an IR blocking filter on Mars to stop the ToUCam's Sony HAD chip from blooming. I've been playing with the Registax quality setting; seems like 25% works well.

There are some Mars CCD threads in the Solar System forum with great ToUCam shots and tips.
