Does anybody have any idea what mounting hardware is needed to mount an Tak FS102 with Parallax(sp?) rings to the LXD55 equatorial mount. Also what thread sizes for screws that may be needed.

You can mount the Parallax rings to a Meade LXD55 dovetail bar, Vixen GP/GPDX plate, or Celestron/Synta CG5/EQ4 plate. The Celestron extruded aluminum bar also works. The rings can be drilled and tapped per your request, but 1/4-20 thread is most common.

Mike:

I just mounted my TV 101 to an LXD55 using a dovetail plate from Stellarvue (about $20 - $30). It is tapered to fit the LXD55 mounting system and has 1/4", recessed holes for mounting the paralax (sp) rings (which I also used).
