I'm looking for a plastic push-on type cap to cover the open end of a telescope tube (140mm diameter). Basically, a large lense cap to keep the dust out, etc. Anybody know where I can find something like this?

well, if you're going for function, not form, a saran quick-cover works quite well for a few cents...
