dew on corrector lens

Hello Everyone!!
Beautiful day here in Italy...!
I have a question about the lenses of my LX90.
Yesterday night I was outside very late and I was observing. Didn't have the dew cap...so dew formed quickly...
Now ..I brought the socpe inside with the caps on and put an heavy cloth on it.
This morning I went to check and you can see very very small dots on the lens (corrector lens)?!?!
What are those and what I did wrong? Will they affect the vision...? will they degrade it?
Should I remove them or the dew that will form on the next session will bring those dots away?

I`m worried.

Emanuele,
Don't be too worried. It sounds like you have water spots which will make your system a little less than perfect, but still very useable. They probably will not go away by on their own either. Cleaning techniques will vary and you might get a multitude of opinions on what is best. I would suggest that you start by looking at Al Nagler's article on cleaning optics. http://www.televue.com/engine/page.asp?ID=143
Just take your time. You may choose to deal with this your self or you can take it or ship it to someone who can.

I make a product that will help you. It is designed for post viewing problems exactly as some have stated here. It can be placed inside of corrector covers, refractor covers, EP boxes, Equipment boxes etc... It holds 7 grams of dessicant. This desiccant will absorb excess moisture and help prevent spotting and fouling of the corrector. I have also included a picture of them mounted inside the corrector cover or a C14. However, they fit almost anywhere. Please see my website for more information.
