I was wondering if any forum members had tried the Sky Window. I have a pair of Oberwork 12x60s that could use some support and I am looking at options for mounting them. Thanks for the feedback, Ed

I received a mirror recently for doing some testing of a flat. It is the same size and type that Sky Window uses and I have not had the chance to try it. In the original testing the supplied mirror showed a bit of astigmatism. This new mirror is supposed to be a higher quality of plate mirror and I hope it will test better. If it does, I will let everyone know about it. I will make a sky window if it works out.

I have this one from Oberwerk and am very satisfied with it, using Oberwerk 15x70 binoculars on a mid-size photo tripod:

The sharpness is fine and the comfort is wonderful. Aiming the whole apparatus can be a challenge.
