I have a pair of Celestron 10x50 Ultimas and the adjustable eyepiece is jammed, for lack of a better word. It will turn slightly with some force, can't get focus, and makes a little binding type noise. Not metal to metal but something is seized up it feels like. Anyways, anyone seen this before? Or is this a return to Celestron?

thanks,
Dean

I suggest checking under the eye cup to see if there are small screws securing the adjustable EP. I don't have the Ultima but one EP of my Celestron 10X40 WP IF bino started slipping while I was on a Alaskan cruise. It would turn slightly when I press down hard....tightening the three small screws after removing the eye cup did the trick.
