Mike, I have had a pair since early September and they can deliver some awesome views. M33, NGC 253, Planetaries and faint areas of fainter nebulosities from mag 6 skies. My mag 4 backyard shows the Ring and Helix nebs nicely at 32x, but I view to the west for this.
90 degree viewing is a wonder, but do yourself a favor and get Rigel's Quick-view finder for easy sighting. I also use a fork mount from Helix...you can see my rig in their customer pics page.
Carpe Noctem,
Al

The "dreaded 88s" are awesome. I have used them under light polluted skies and have been amazed at what I could see.
I would like to observe comet Machholz if the sky will ever clear.
I have mine mounted on an old SCT fork mount. This gives nice "slow mo" adjustments.

If any of you guys figure out how to increase the magnificaion, please holler!
(Perhaps try unscrewing eyepiece/barlow barrels, .965 EP, etc :-) What's
special about the included EPs?

Thanks, -- William (Saratoga, CA)

p.s. has anyone tried the 6mm or 9mm Expanse EP minus barrel?
