Item not received and user profile is gone

I placed a want-ad for a Feathertouch focuser and received a response from a user in Ariz. His emails were always prompt and he sent photos to my personal email as requested. We agreed on a price and the seller sent me a payment request invoice thru PayPal. I sent the funds, $500, within a couple of hours. The seller acknowledged the payment was received and indicated that the focuser would be shipped ASAP and to expect the tracking info. That was three days ago. My requests for shipping status go unanswered and now I see that his user profile is gone. I filed a request for full refund with PayPal, but they are insisting that I keep trying to contact and resolve the issue with the seller. Should I wait to post the sellers name here or let it rip? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Given its only been 3 days I can understand PP saying give it some time.....there are several valid reasons for his disappearance. However when you throw in the fact that Herb has obviously removed his account that changes things. He must have gotten someone else as well. 

I would say at this point you should publicly provide all the info you have as there may be others as well who could benefit from knowing.

I found the photos that he had sent me after doing a Google search using the exact words he used in his item description. I usually do this, but this one got past me.
