Celestron Ortho Set & 10mm Wide Angle EP Sold to Peter
This set includes 5mm, 9mm, 12mm & 25mm Celestron Orthos and a 10mm Wide Angle 'Desert Scope' (Meade) 1 1/4" eyepieces with boxes and caps. All are in very good or better condition optically and mechanically. They do show minor signs of use.
The 5mm, 9mm, & 12mm Orthos are early Celestron Orthos manufactured in Japan. The 6mm & 18mm are missing the "Celestron" sticker seen on the 9mm. [They came with the sticker but were lost over the years] The 25mm Ortho is a later Celestron with the painted on markings. All are 'JAPAN' manufacture.
The Desert Scope 10mm Wide Angle was purchased to find out if the Desert Scope EPs compared to the Meade WA eyepieces at the time. At the time, it was alleged that these eyepieces were manufactured at the same production facility. Except for the markings on the eyepiece and the box, this eyepiece is pretty much identical to the same Meade eyepiece. It even comes in Meade Bolt Case.
These are great eyepieces for a 'starter set', Star Parties, back-up, etc.

$75.00 USD for the set.
Buyer pays shipping. Shipping via USPS: $7.50 for S&H in USA, $10.00 for S&H to Canada, email for other foreign county S&H prices.
