You probably know that these color CCD cameras are the perfect outreach tool for star parties and "You Tube" live presentations. I lightly used this camera for public outreach and it worked perfectly. It also far outperformed visual views on faint "fuzzies" in light polluted skies (with live stacking of color images). A beginning imager can be taught to use the intuitive software in a few sessions. It can also store images for later post-processing in Photoshop or other software. It is best used with "fast" short or medium focal length telescopes, and it works equally well with alt/az or equatorial mounts. See the Atik website for detailed specifications.
